These qualities include the dominant parapet, adorned with a pediment with flanking scrolls, with terminating projecting and chamfered piers supported by decorative consoles (with vertically proportioned incised panels below), dentillated cornice, and large incised rectangular title panel. Other intact or appropriate qualities include the single storey height, unpainted brick wall construction, skillion verandah, square timber verandah columns, decorative cast iron verandah valances and brackets, timber framed double hung windows, timber framed shopfront with central ingo and panelled timber and glazed door, and rendered base walls.
