The former St Paul's School is of local historical and architectural significance. It was one of the first schoolhouses in Coburg and the northern part of Melbourne and it forms part of an historic group of Roman Catholic buildings. Although its integrity has been compromised, it is in a good state of preservation with its alterations reflecting the generations of pupils which have passed through it.
