The building demonstrates key features of a mid 19th century bluestone dwelling including the hipped roof, symmetrical design, tuckpointed bluestone ashlar with dressed quoins, skillion verandah spanning between end wing walls, four panel front timber door, and timber framed double hung windows with six pane sashes.
