Until 2012 this building was included in HO141 and described in the HO Schedule as the 'Essendon Tramway Depot (1906)'. However, the tram depot is situated on another site further to the north (No. 318-72 Mt Alexander Road). An inspection and reivew of the history of this building in 2012 found that it has no relationship to the historic development of the Essendon Tram Depot. It is an altered late inter war or post war factory/warehouse building, which has no architectural merit and is not significant for other reasons. Accordingly, it is recommended for removal from HO141.
