- The place is a highly intact, single storey, Victorian timber precinct of generally single-fronted houses with timber block fronted front walls, and cast iron verandahs.
- The place is associated with the large mansions along Harcourt Street and illustrates the flow-on effect of early mansion house construction on the type of development in the surrounding area.
