Historically, it is significant as a representative and now rare example of an early twentieth century dwelling, which demonstrates the development associated with the development of primary industry in Clyde at that time. (AHC criteria A4, B2 and D2) Aesthetically, it is significant as a representative example of an Edwardian weatherboard villa. It is notable for the detailing to the gable end and verandah, which is rare for a rural dwelling of this type within the municipality. (AHC criteria E1 and F1) |
