It has historic and aesthetic importance. It is aesthetically important (Criterion E) as an imposing bi-chromatic villa demonstrating the influence of the North Italian Renaissance on villa design towards the end of the nineteenth century, the elements of the projecting wing being highly demonstrative of this characteristic. |
