The Hugh Lennon Agricultural Implement works (former) is of local historic significance to the City of Hobsons Bay.
Why is it Significant?
Historically, it is significant for its associations with the locally important manufacturing firms of Hugh Lennon and International Harvester as the only remaining structure of the once vast complex established here in the first half of the twentieth century. It is one of a number of major complexes within the Spotswood area that demonstrate the significant industrial development that occurred up until World War 2.
