The house, constructed in 1929 by the Cockerill Bros. possibly to a State Savings Bank of Victoria design, at 119A Clarendon Street, Cranbourne.
How is it significant?
The house at 119A Clarendon Street, Cranbourne is of local historic and aesthetic significance to the City of Casey.
Why is it significant?
Historically, it was the home of well known local Graham family and demonstrates the development of Cranbourne during the interwar period. It is also significant as an example of the housing sponsored by the State Savings Bank of Victoria in the interwar period. (AHC criteria A4, D2 & H1)
Aesthetically, it is significant as a well preserved example of an interwar bungalow, which retains much of its original detailing as well as remnants of the early colour scheme. (AHC criterion E1)
